NEW POLICIES - AUP

This Professional Development is provided to introduce faculty members to Epsilen training which will be used by TEA from this year onward. This training will also introduce you to district goals and new policies and procedures. The focus of Texas education is changing to a more rigorous curriculum supported by a flood of new technology tools. It is important that each teacher and administrator be familiar with how Arp ISD is working towards preparing students & teachers for their challenging futures.

STEP 2. Each teacher will be responsible for preparing students with 21st Century Skills by incorporating from Pre-K to 12th grades Internet Safety, AUP, and technology integrated lessons into each classroom.

We are giving you an opportunity to set goals in your classroom using the Levels of Technology Integration (LoTI) template for walkthroughs. Here is an example:

• We have assigned you a mentor to work with you individually so that you can better integrate technology into your classroom.
• We have developed online QuickStarts for you get help as you need it, when you need it
