Remember that a BLOG is a journal of thoughts, creative ideas, collaboration, commentary, and connection with other people across the Web.
The Blog can be used to learn from others, debate, discuss, and present information and ideas.
A Blog IS NOT....a substitue for email or chatting. Your ideas should enhance the discussion, not distract from the discussion. A good place to start is to look at the Blogger's Tool Kit.
Step Two: Click on "Log in to" my page
Step Three: type in your Network Username and Password
Step Four: Click on Create my Blog
Step Five: Click on Settings

Step Six: Click on the Edit Pencil

Choose a Theme AND set your Access Control: "Anyone"
Comments: "Authenticated Users" (Students MUST use Access Control: Authenticated Users and Comments: Authenticated Users)
Then Click SAVE
Step Seven: Return to your Blog

Step Eight: Click on the "+" sign to create a new Blog entry

Fill in the Name of your Entry. (Example: "Welcome") and Type in the Text box provided...any text that you like.

You may copy and paste from a Word document into your Blog. You may upload pictures using the "music notes" icon.

You may upload documents using the "paper clip" icon. Be sure and SAVE before you Log Out. Please read Posting Policies before you begin your Blog

--FYI: TAGS are keywords that are found by the search engine.
--To ADD a HyperLink: type the entire URL with the http:// in front. Make sure to press the space bar after the entire address. (example: http://www.arpisd.org will not look like a hyperlink until you hit the space bar after typing the entire address.)
--How to LOG back into your Blog. Once you have created your Blog, you will access it by clicking on TIGERTUBE from the Home Page.
You can Login at the bottom of your Blog
Once you have logged in, you are able the Edit (use the edit pencil) your existing Blog OR you can Add a new Entry to your Blog by clicking on the "+" sign. Remember to Logout when you are finished. ;-) Happy Blogging.
