December 1, 2011 Assignment Directions

Good Morning Students,
You will be using the "Types of Reactions" worksheet that we graded yesterday to complete the assignment for today.
The substitute will hand back your worksheet from yesterday. You need to use the equations written on the worksheet and write word equations or "Chemical Sentences" for each equation.
I showed you how to do this yesterday in class. However, if you have slept since then or were not here yesterday, I have included a video below of what I am expecting you to do today.
Remember, that everything in Chemistry is cumulative. So, you will continue to use what we have already learned this year over and over again for the rest of the school year.
Good luck on the assignment! Do your BEST!

CHEM-Sept 12-16

MONDAY--Chemistry Test and copy all vocabulary terms into your composition book.
TUESDAY--WHAT A DAY..........First and Second--Mystery Box Mini Lab and Set up of Netbooks. Then, I got news that Holly hit her head and had to take her to the ER. She has a concussion. So, all chemistry classes need to do the following assignment: In your composition book, on the next clean page. Front or back doesn't matter. Please write the notes attached at the bottom of this page over atoms and atomic structure. Then complete the worksheet that the substitute will give you and keep it until tomorrow. We will grade it in class on Thursday. If you get confused, look back at your notes.
THURSDAY--Today we will take notes over atomic structure, isotopes and ions.
FRIDAY-Today we will begin the Marble Mania Lab modelling Rutherford's Gold Foil experiment.
